Paull's Vehicle Rental
Whilst I often hear clients say great things about our software, the chance to visit a new client promised a great opportunity to see what it’s like on the other side of Prohire.
Leaving my office desk I ventured out onto the road and headed for Paull’s based in the heart of Leicester. Both Paull’s and myself joined Prohire in January, so in many ways this was an ideal company to visit.
I was given a warm welcome by Elaine (the Rental Manager) and Colin (the Operations Director). Together, Elaine and Colin have been in the rental industry for an impressive 70 years. The staff were very friendly and took the time to show me around. After seeing the premises I was shown the Paull’s fleet. Colin explained that all vehicles enjoy a high turnover and are replaced after a maximum of 2 years.
Following the tour, I was taken to the busy front desk with Prohire fired up on each computer screen. In no time Elaine had launched into a series of quick-fire Prohire compliments – it was hard to write them all down in my notebook! “It’s very simple to use”, “I haven’t heard the front desk staff moan once about it!”, and “Hardly any training was needed”. The enthusiasm was obvious. Elaine explained that she had used Prohire at a previous company, and had really pushed for Paull’s to take on-board the same software. After discussions with Colin, Paull’s went live with Prohire in January 2012. Despite his long-term familiarity with another software system, Colin quickly saw the advantages of Prohire. He personally liked the ability to find specific management information for meetings with co-directors.
Later on in the day I sat down with Colin and had a conversation about Paull’s and their experience with Prohire. Colin told me about their ambitious growth plans. Knowing that Prohire supports their fleet of today, he is confident that it will also support their expanding fleet of tomorrow.
