Searching Information in Prohire

Searching Information in Prohire

Prohire is a powerful resource when it comes to storing information from vehicle registrations to clients details. To prevent duplicating the information, you can search for it before filling it in all over again.

There are several characters you can use to find information ranging from % to *. The most commonly used character is the * symbol. An example of this might be if you know the clients last name is Smith but cant remember the last two letters you can put Smi*. Or if you know the last characters are TH but not the first ones you can put *th.

If you know the first letter of their first name is J and their last name starts Sm you can put J* in the first name box and Sm* in the last name box and Prohire will show you the results. This method will save a lot of time inputting the same clients details and be able to create bookings against regular clients. Another example might include if you want to find a registration, you know the last 3 letters are ABC so you would search by entering *ABC as we do for the clients.

You can see an example below which shows how the * sign finds information effectively and quickly saving time duplicating data.
