Two Great New Features in the Latest Prohire Version


Over the past few weeks we've been rolling out the latest version of Prohire to our clients. This blog covers the two main changes that have been made, namely the new Dashboard and Client Screen.

You may have noticed in the latest Prohire update a new “Dashboard” button on the Prohire front screen. This new feature serves as a quick and easy way to generate key fleet infographics.




As you can see, the dashboard displays a number of different reports – such as:

Rate per day by Group
Rate per day by Site
Daily Diary summary
Spot Utilization by Site
Spot Utilization by Group
Vehicle Status by Site
Spot Utilization by Vehicle Category  
Spot Utilization by Vehicle Category Type
Fleet Size by Site
Fleet Size by Group


The dashboard is colour customisable and allows you to either show the values on the graphs or to hide these values.



You may change the number of widgets being displayed at any one time as well as re-arrange the widgets into any position.

Additionally, the client screen has received a revamp in version

The redesign aims to help front desk users navigate the client screen more quickly and efficiently. You'll notice that the tabs across the bottom have now been moved to the top with an associated icon. All of the tick boxes and options at the top have now been moved into the Contact/Licence/Settings tab, making the whole screen much neater and more central.

You will also notice a new drop down box called ‘Rate Name’ at the top which makes it easier to assign a tariff rate against a client. Before, you needed to type the name and sometimes due to user error it wouldn't work, however using the new drop down box makes the process much simpler as there’s no need to flick back and forth between the client screen and the tariffs in the system setup.


You will also notice that the additional drivers section in the booking/reservation screen has been changed. This again is to improve on time and efficiency when creating the bookings.
