No, Prohire Tracker can be used with just 1 vehicle or 1,000.

The fixed monthly cost is £3.50 per device per month* This includes unlimited data but excludes hardware which needs to be purchased separately.

* Monthly cost based on a 24-month contract. 

Other than the initial cost of the hardware, there are no other upfront fees or charges.

The cost per device is shown below.

No, Prohire doesn’t provide an installation service so you will need to fit the device(s) yourself or use a local company.

Yes, you will own the devices once full payment has been received.

Prohire warrants that on delivery, and for a period of 24 months from the date of delivery (warranty period), devices shall be free from material defects in design, material and workmanship.

The minimum contract period is 24 months.

No, all devices are fitted with a SIM card prior to delivery. Data charges are included in the fixed monthly cost.

No, the fixed monthly cost includes unlimited data.

Yes, as long as devices remain within the European Union, they will continue to function and transmit data. 

Yes, additional devices can be added at any time.

We recommend that FMB001 devices are removed prior to servicing as technicians may need to access the OBD port to download diagnostic data.

In the first instance, faulty devices would need to be returned to Prohire Software Systems Ltd, 1090Z Galley Drive, Kent Science Park, Sittingbourne, Kent ME9 8GA

Data collected includes vehicle location data, accelerometer data, tracker movement, over speeding detection, jamming detection, GNSS fuel counter, excessive idling detection, unplug detection, towing detection, crash detection, auto geofence, manual geofence and trip data.

Data is held securely for the purpose of the Customer protecting its legitimate interests by monitoring the use of its vehicles when out on hire and monitoring any breach of the hire agreement by the person renting the vehicle from the Customer.
