All Companion customers enjoy access to unlimited devices with unlimited jobs and unlimited users.
Companion is compatible with Android & Apple smartphones and tablets. The minimum requirement for Android devices is v9.0, but we recommend v10.0 or above. The minimum requirement for Apple devices is v11 of iOS.
Absolutely! Companion integrates seamlessly with Prohire. You can access job histories from Prohire and easily send jobs to Companion devices/users. Booking statuses are also updated in Prohire on completion of a pre-rental and post-rental inspection.
Absolutely! You can perform as many mid-hire inspections as required. These can be the same or different to those on check out/in. The results of the inspections are automatically sent to Prohire. This feature is especially useful if you are required to perform regular inspections (e.g. every 6 weeks).
Yes! Delivery & Collection address details are automatically pulled through to the Companion job from the booking screen in Prohire. Drivers have access to address information and a link to Google Maps for turn-by-turn navigation.

For those using Macs, you can create a Windows-like environment on your device using third-party software like Parallels. Please note that we’re in the process of transitioning to a fully browser-based solution, and a growing number of modules can already be accessed via a web browser.
